A bridge between Asia and Europe, Turkey occupies a strategic geographical position on the ancient Silk Roads, which has greatly influenced its culture. The university ensemble “EBF-HOT” stands out for its commitment to local communities and its research work on the characteristics of Anatolia.

They are accompanied by a whirling dervish who practices a form of moving meditation derived from the Sufi tradition, a mystical branch of Islam. With “EBF-HOT,” we travel to the sound of the “zurna,” a woodwind instrument made of apricot wood, and the shepherd’s flute “kaval.”
