CULTURAL ASSOCIATION "MYGDONIA"
Some still remember the last Greek group who took part in the RFI over twenty years ago. The ensemble participating this year, «Mygdonia», comes from Tessaloniki. It will present dances and songs from all regions of Greece. The folklore of this country has particularities on all levels: the specific sound of the bouzouki, the Greek costume with its ample trousers and the pompoms present on the shoe of the men, without forgetting the Sirtaki, made famous by the film «Zorba the Greek» in the sixties.
