Based in Vinnytsia, in the west of Ukraine, Radist is one of the best ensembles in the region. Comprising 500 children and teenagers aged 6 to 18, the group is a real escape, enabling young people to flourish despite the war. Radist and Fribourg, a story of friendship.

In June 2022, the RFI invited the ensemble to take part in a solidarity action, making a deep impression on some twenty Fribourg families who warmly welcomed the youngsters into their homes. This summer, the ensemble’s musicians are forced to remain in the country because of the war.

To compensate, a wonderful solidarity project has been set up: the Orchestre de la Ville de Bulle will accompany the group throughout the festival.
